Mick Murphy
Mick Murphy is the owner of Canine Country Club, bringing over 20 years of experience in dog and cat boarding.
He designed and developed the purpose-built kennels and cattery, creating a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for pets while their owners are away.
Mick is also an award-winning breeder of Hovawarts, with recognition at Crufts, reflecting his deep knowledge and commitment to high standards of animal care.
With a hands-on approach and a genuine passion for animals, Mick ensures every pet receives attentive, professional care during their stay.

Leonie Fahy
Leonie brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Canine Country Club, with specialist training under European award-winning groomer Joanne Angus.
She has achieved exceptional results in her City & Guilds qualifications and has competed at the Irish Grooming Championships.
As a qualified Canine First Responder and experienced handler, Leonie provides a safe, calm, and professional grooming experience for every dog in her care.

Our Dog Boarding Kennels and Cattery are open from 7.30 a.m. to 6.15 p.m. 7 days a week.

A Safe & Secure Environment
Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do.
Our home is located just 150 metres from the boarding facilities, meaning someone is always on-site to monitor and care for the animals.
We’ve carefully designed our setup to ensure a secure, supervised, and comfortable environment at all times.

Health & Safety
To protect the health of all pets in our care, we have a few important requirements in place:
All pets must be up to date with vaccinations
Dogs must have Kennel Cough vaccination
Vaccination records are required prior to boarding
These measures help us maintain a safe and healthy environment for every animal staying with us.
Age Guidelines
We recommend that pets are at least 5 months old before boarding.
Younger animals can be more sensitive to changes in environment, and waiting until they are a little older helps ensure a more comfortable and stress-free experience for them.

The Canine Country Club & Cattery
The Canine Country Club is your pet's safe and comfortable home away from home. Our custom built dog boarding kennels are located on 12.5 acres of farmland in Kileenmore, Sallins, which is in easy reach of Dublin and Kildare.
Our boarding kennels and cattery offer a healthy atmosphere with personal attention to the needs of each pet.
