Meet the Groomer
Meet Leonie – Professional Dog Groomer
Leonie is the experienced dog groomer at Canine Country Club, with extensive training in England under multi-award-winning groomer Joanne Angus.
She has achieved outstanding results in her City & Guilds exams, earning distinctions in West Highland Terriers and Cocker Spaniels, and has competed successfully at the Irish Grooming Championships.
Leonie is also a qualified Canine First Responder and a long-standing member of the Irish Professional Dog Groomers Association.
With a calm, experienced approach and a strict no-sedation policy, Leonie ensures every dog is groomed safely, professionally, and with care.
Awards & Experience 🏆
Leonie competed at the Irish Grooming Championships in October 2010 in 2 classes. She won 2nd place in the clipped class with a Lhasa Apso cross breed and 3rd place in the hand strip class with a Jack Russel Terrier.
She specializes in West Highland Terriers and Cocker Spaniels, and in her city and guilds exam, she achieved two distinctions for these breeds getting 93 and 89 marks out of a possible 100. This is one of the highest marks ever achieved by an Irish groomer.

The Canine Country Club is your pet's safe and comfortable home away from home. Our custom built dog boarding kennels are located on 12.5 acres of farmland in Kileenmore, Sallins, which is in easy reach of Dublin and Kildare.
Our boarding kennels and cattery offer a healthy atmosphere with personal attention to the needs of each pet.
